New £16m coach fleet

We're continually investing in our network, and are proud to announce that the first 17 of 51 new coaches have just taken to the roads.

The Caetano Levante coaches' all have full-leather reclining seats with a bespoke National Express design and wider headrests that create more space for customers. 240v plug sockets and seatback tables also come as standard, as do personal climate control, a large luggage hold and all-age seat belts and booster seats. Furthermore, with the cleanest Euro 5 engines available, it's now ten times more environmentally friendly to travel with us than by car.

What's more, the coaches use a new onboard tracking system to beam live information to coach stations across the UK, so customers and staff can find out when they're due at stations.

Together, the new fleet has been developed and designed to encourage even more people to swap cars and trains for our coaches. And help us attract even more than our usual 19 million customers a year.
