At National Express we're proud of the business we've built up over the years. You'll know about some of the services we provide but you might be surprised by some others. Let's start with what we're famous for.

Coaches

We're the UK's largest scheduled coach service. We have more than 1,600 vehicles, and they cover more than 65 million miles to reach 1,000 destinations across England, Scotland and Wales each year. And if you add our Eurolines business to the mix, we travel to 500 locations across Europe and North Africa as well.

We've never been slow to spot opportunities in the market, and so it was with our unique Airlinks brand. At Gatwick Airport we created the Airlinks service to provide inter-terminal transfers for airline customers, car parking contracts and airline crew movement throughout the Airport. At Stansted airport, we operate the mid- and long-stay car parks bus transfer services as well as the short-stay parking with our partners Empark.

Buses

We run bus services in the West Midlands and Coventry areas - together they make up the largest single area bus network in the UK outside London. We also operate buses in Dundee and the Travel Midland Metro light-rail service in Birmingham.

Spain

Through our Alsa brand we are Spain's leading private operator of coach and bus services. The division employs over 6,100 people, and provides urban bus and coach services across the country, as well as in Marrakech, Morocco.

North America

Every day, students across the US and Canada go to school on our yellow school buses. In fact, you'll find them in 29 US states and two Canadian provinces, and we have 21,400 employees making this part of the business a resounding success.

All in all, we have 41,000 people working for the National Express Group around the world.
